Dr. Anthony Crifase graduated from National University of Health Sciences in Illinois with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. He has extensive post doctorate education and training in Functional Medicine and Clinical Nutrition and is a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist® practitioner, Board Certified Diplomat with the American Clinical Board of Nutrition, Board Certified Sports Nutritionist and also a Certified Personal Trainer.
Dr. Crifase is one of only a few Board Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS) and Diplomats of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition practitioners in the United States. CNSs have fulfilled the most rigorous advanced-degree, education, experience, examination, and continuing education requirements. The CNS certification is held by clinical nutritionists, physicians and other advance-degreed healthcare professionals with a specialty in nutrition.
Dr. Crifase seeks to identify and address the root cause of health concerns, and through a collaborative relationship with patients, works to restore health and optimize wellness. This work of empowered health is Dr. Crifase’s calling in life. Dr. Crifase has also graduated with a Bachelors of Biomedical Science from National University of Health Sciences as well as a Culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu Chicago, and prior to entering the field of Functional Medicine, established himself as an expert in the food industry who has worked under multiple Michelin star executive chefs.
Dr. Crifase provides in-person consultations in the Chicago, Illinois area as well as phone and webcam consultations for people around the world. He specializes in clinically investigating underlying factors and customizing health programs for chronic conditions such as thyroid issues, autoimmune conditions, hormonal dysfunctions, digestive disorders, diabetes, heart disease and fibromyalgia.
